who formed you in the womb:
I am the Lord who made all things;
by myself I stretched out the heavens
by myself I spread out the earth.

For thus says the Lord,
The creator of the heavens, who is God,
The designer and maker of the earth
who established it,
Not as an empty waste did he create it,
but designing it to be lived in:
I am the Lord, and there is no other.
Isaiah 40:25,28
To whom can you liken me as an equal? says the Holy One.

creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary,
and his knowledge is beyond scrutiny.

majesty, victory, and splendor.
For all in heaven and on earth is yours;
yours, Lord, is kingship;
you are exalted as head over all.
Riches and glory are from you,
and you have dominion over all.
In your hand are power and might;
it is yours to give greatness and strength to all.
Therefore, our God, we give you thanks
and we praise the majesty of your name.

4 Yet it was our pain that he bore,
our sufferings he endured.
We thought of him as stricken,
struck down by God[a] and afflicted,
5 But he was pierced for our sins,
crushed for our iniquity.
He bore the punishment that makes us whole,
by his wounds we were healed.
1 Peter 2:24-25
24 He himself bore our sins in his body upon the cross, so that, free from sin, we might live for righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. 25 For you had gone astray like sheep, but you have now returned to the shepherd and guardian of your souls.

However, if we confess our sins,
he who is faithful and just
will forgive our sins
and cleanse us from all wrongdoing.

Remember the enemy is on the prowl trying to steal, kill and destroy

Watch carefully then how you live, not as foolish persons but as wise,
making the most of the opportunity, because the days are evil.

And do not get drunk on wine, in which lies debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,
addressing one another [in] psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and playing to the Lord in your hearts,
giving thanks always and for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.
Luke 21:34-36
34 “Be on your guard lest your hearts be weighed down by carousing and drunkenness and the anxieties of this life and that day will catch you unawares, 35 like a trap. For that day will come upon everyone in the world. 36 Be vigilant at all times, praying for the strength to survive all those things that will take place and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man.”

You are a New Creation

created in God’s way in righteousness and holiness of truth.

so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father,
we too might live in newness of life.
6)
Rely not on your own understanding
Proverbs 3:1-35
My son, do not forget my teaching,
take to heart my commands
For many days, and years of life,
and peace, will they bring you.
Do not let love and fidelity forsake you;
bind them around your neck;
write them on the tablet of your heart.
Then will you win favor and esteem
before God and human beings.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
on your own intelligence do not rely;
In all your ways be mindful of him,
and he will make straight your paths.
Do not be wise in your own eyes,
fear the Lord and turn away from evil;
This will mean health for your flesh
and vigor for your bones.
Honor the Lord with your wealth,
with first fruits of all your produce;
Then will your barns be filled with plenty,
with new wine your vats will overflow.
The discipline of the Lord, my son, do not spurn;
do not disdain his reproof;
For whom the Lord loves he reproves,
as a father, the son he favors.
God’s ways are not Man’s ways
Isaiah 55:8-9
For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
nor are your ways my ways—oracle of the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways,
my thoughts higher than your thoughts.
Walk by faith not by sight
2 Corinthians 5:7
for we walk by faith, not by sight.
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way and the truth[e] and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
If you know me, then you will also know my Father.[f] From now on you do know him and have seen him.”
7)
Ask and you will receive
Luke 11:9-13
9 “And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. 11 What father among you would hand his son a snake when he asks for a fish? 12 Or hand him a scorpion when he asks for an egg? 13 If you then, who are wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the Father in heaven give the holy Spirit[a] to those who ask him?”
Matthew 7:7-12
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. 9 Which one of you would hand his son a stone when he asks for a loaf of bread,[a] 10 or a snake when he asks for a fish? 11 If you then, who are wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to those who ask him.
Luke 18:1-8
1 [a]Then he told them a parable about the necessity for them to pray always without becoming weary. He said, 2 “There was a judge in a certain town who neither feared God nor respected any human being. 3 And a widow in that town used to come to him and say, ‘Render a just decision for me against my adversary.’ 4 For a long time the judge was unwilling, but eventually he thought, ‘While it is true that I neither fear God nor respect any human being, 5 [b]because this widow keeps bothering me I shall deliver a just decision for her lest she finally come and strike me.’” 6 The Lord said, “Pay attention to what the dishonest judge says. 7 Will not God then secure the rights of his chosen ones who call out to him day and night? Will he be slow to answer them? 8 I tell you, he will see to it that justice is done for them speedily. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”
You must believe to receive
1 John 5:14-15
And we have this confidence in him,
that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
And if we know that he hears us in regard to whatever we ask,
we know that what we have asked him for is ours.

But Jesus said to him, “‘If You can?’ All things are possible for the one who believes.”
John 14:12-14
Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do,
and will do greater ones than these, because I am going to the Father.
And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it
Mark 11:20-25
20 Early in the morning, as they were walking along, they saw the fig tree withered to its roots. 21 Peter remembered and said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree that you cursed has withered.” 22 Jesus said to them in reply, “Have faith in God. 23 Amen, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it shall be done for him. 24 Therefore I tell you, all that you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours. 25 When you stand to pray, forgive anyone against whom you have a grievance, so that your heavenly Father may in turn forgive you your transgressions.”
Do Not worry
Luke 12.22-31
22 Jesus said to his disciples: I tell you not to worry about your life! Don’t worry about having something to eat or wear. 23 Life is more than food or clothing.
25 Can worry make you live longer?[a] 26 If you don’t have power over small things, why worry about everything else?
Matthew 6: 31-33
31 Don’t worry and ask yourselves, “Will we have anything to eat? Will we have anything to drink? Will we have any clothes to wear?” 32 Only people who don’t know God are always worrying about such things. Your Father in heaven knows you need all of these. 33 But more than anything else, put God’s work first and do what he wants. Then the other things will be yours as well.
34a Don’t worry about tomorrow. It will take care of itself
